Getting My Blog Out There

Well, I spent quite a bit of my day looking for ways to put my blog out there. I found a link right here on blogger.com to join a group to chat about your blog. I found a link on that site to help me verify my site through Google and learned it could take up to a month to index my site. So, at least I have a time frame on that. And I found a few sites through their help page on sites that post blogs. So, I'm off again.

Week 2

Well, I'm still plugging away with no results. adSense it just not working, now I've tried Zimbio. So we'll see if that works. This is getting a little discouraging.

Day Four

One of the companies from LinkShare was approved so I was able to post it on my blog www.firedfromjob.blogspot.com It was cool seeing something finally work. I'm also finding companies that I didn't know were out there. I guess that's a bonus.

Day Three

Ok went to the bookstore and got a great book. "Blogging for Dummies." This helped out a little. It talked about LinkShare - see link to the right and that lifted my spirits a little. It seems like you do better if you already have a website in place or can get one going and generate traffic on it. There's that word again - traffic.

Getting started in Profit Lance was easy and gave you that feeling that money was just around the corner. But WOW. All the reading and learning was an unexpected surprise. So, I dove in and followed his process step by step. I was interested. I was getting it. I was stuck! How do I get people to visit my Blog!
